Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November on the 18th of November located in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's talent for athletics was evident as early as the day she enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. In just 10 weeks following her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix finished high school having signed a professional contract with the sports company Adidas after which she enrolled in the University of Southern California where she studied elementary school. In 2004, Felix won the first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece and set an all-time junior world record sprinting 200 meters with a time of 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in the 200-meter event. She defended the title once again in 2007, winning over her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was a participant at her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo constantly placing within the top three of her races.
