Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was apparent from the time she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition and placing among the top two athletes at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix completed her high school education and was signed to an official contract to Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s, setting a new junior world record. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for the distance of 200 meters. In 2007, she defended the title in front of her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of all events.
