Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel (born on December 2 1998), is an American actress. Her role includes daytime television as well as episodic guest performances and television-produced movies. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo in the soap drama General Hospital. From 2013 to 2022, she played the character of Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap production The Bold and the Beautiful.





 Early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), a psychology professor, as well as Martin Sofer, an Orthodox rabbi.





 She moved with her father as well as her brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1970. They resided in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father ran the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was a rabbi of Temple Beth El. She attended North Bergen High School, later attending classes at Montclair State College.





 Career



 Daytime television



 Sofer first played Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993 as a manager of a band. She first appeared as Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap show Loving.
